This weekends challenges...Before and After

Forgive me if most of my posts begin "This weekend" it's usually the only time I have to get a lot of experimenting done.... Nevertheless, this weekend (lol), I had three challenges!

3
(Please excuse the picture quality)

1) A small brithday cake for a Leo (Lion) who is committed to being successful (at least financially = $), considers himself a king and has a big heart (<3)

Event: Birthday Gathering (Found out it was at a lounge in NYC)
Flavor: Two layer Chocolate and Vanilla cake with Vanilla Buttercream
Color Scheme and Theme: Red, Green, Yellow and Black. (Theme described above)

2) Inspired by a commercial logo, a friend was having an American Summer BBQ this weekend and wanted some cupcakes that blended with the decor.

Event: Summer BBQ
Flavor: Chocolate Chip cupcake with Vanilla Buttercream, Mint Chocolate Cupcake with Chocolate Buttercream and Chocolate Cucpake filled with Oreo Cookies Crumble with Chocolate Ganache frosting.
Color Scheme and Theme: Blue, Red and White. American Summer Theme (see logo below and recreation by yours truly under)

3) Create a replica of a cake I've done previously. My friend fell in love with the polka dot cake I created for my aunt for Mother's Day this year (see the original here) and wanted one for her daughter.

Event: Just because
Flavor: Red Velvet Cake with Cream-cheese frosting
Color Scheme and Theme: Pink and black polka dots.
