**Update on 01/19/2015 to reveal ingredients and lucky voter!
This year I could really use your help Cupcake Connoisseurs! I want to keep pushing the envelop on my cake and cupcake creations, but I can't do it without you. Your support is a great catalyst and definitely keeps me inspired. I invite you to help me kick off this year of baking, caking, concocting and decorating by choosing the First Concoction Of The Year! #FCOTY
So to keep this organized here's what we'll do... From the list of 6 random ingredients below, vote for the one you'd most like to see used in the #FCOTY At the end of voting I will combine the ingredient with the most votes, and the ingredient with the least votes to make the #FCOTY!
You can vote multiple times* until January 16th at 12:00am EST and the concoction will be announced that weekend. For your participation, one lucky voter will receive something special from Cupcake Chromatography, this may also include a chance to try the #FCOTY and have your review published!
Choose from three ways to vote:
1) On the Blog: Vote for your option from the ingredient list using the poll below or by commenting below this post with your choice2) Facebook or Twitter: Comment on the Cupcake Chromatography page or post a status update with the ingredient you choose from the list with the following hashtags: #cupcakechrom #FCOTY
3) Instagram: Snap a photo of the ingredient you choose from the list that you have in your kitchen and tag @cupcakechrom and #FCOTY
*You can vote as many times as you would like; however each Connoisseur (that's you) will be allowed a maximum of four entries in the drawing for the gift.

I'm so excited as I write this! After 2 weeks of voting and nearly 60 responses the results are in!!! As promised the ingredient with the least votes and the ingredient with the most votes will be combined to make the #FCOTY!!
However, before I announce the winning ingredients I want to say THANK YOU to everyone who took time to vote, and CONGRATULATIONS lucky connoisseur*** who will receive one dozen cupcakes and a chance to try the #FCOTY (see below if you would also like to taste this concoction)!
